We are very sad to have to say goodbye to our most senior member, Freda
McBride, a committed and loyal member of our group for over 60 years.
An amazing lady, she leaves an immense gap which can never be filled. We
will always remember her with great fondness. May she rest in peace.

Trained at Art College and University, Julia is a
professional artist inspired by a lifetime of
working en plein air in dramatic landscapes. The
show includes work from Cornwall,
Pembrokeshire, Yorkshire, Scotland, Norway
and Iceland, as well as Kent. Julia experiments
with colour and tonality to explore the
crossovers between drawing, painting and
printmaking. Her work ranges from clearly
figurative drawings and paintings to more
representational monoprints.
