small farm is a good example of unimproved
and
species-rich
neutral
grassland.

Painting at Chartwell
5 & 19 July
This summer, amateur artists of all ages and experience are encouraged to
have their paintings of Chartwell displayed in Sir Winston Churchill9s studio.
Artists are invited to enter their own paintings of the house, gardens, and
landscape at Chartwell in a competition. The winners will have their
painting displayed in Churchill9s studio throughout 2026. The submission
period (for photos of the competition entries) will open on July 1st and close
on 30th September. Amateur artists are invited to free outdoor painting
events at Chartwell on Saturdays 5 & 19 July. For more information visit:
